2012 Winter Spring Maintenance Session
We are now accepting 2012 Winter/Spring registration for swimming programmes beginning the week of Sunday, January 8, 2012 for 12 Sessions.
Our Winter Maintenance programme is a great way to improve your athletes' skills in the off- season and maintain their endurance and fitness.

Tuesday sessions are open only to members who are summer swimmers from 2011 and be able to swim 50 metres unaided and be able to swim all 4 strokes.

All sessions begin with a 15 minute warm-up on deck. Shorts and T-shirt must be worn over your swim suit for warm up exercises;

Registrations can be for one or two sessions per week. Two Regular sessions are $215. Note: Summer swimmers are only allowed to train 2 hours a week to remain "S" status;

There will be a two week break from March 18th to 31st for Spring Break and Easter Sunday, April 8;

BC Summer Swimming Association (BCSSA) annual membership fee of $25 will apply if not yet paid/registered for 2011;

Coaches will meet new swimmers in Sun God pool lobby prior to first session start time.

Registration forms must be filled out fully and be accompanied with payment in full. Cheques should be made out to “North Delta Sunfish.”

Welcome to North Delta Sunfish |
|
 Our club is a BC Summer Swimming Association (BCSSA) summer competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to international competitor.
The Sunfish have been in North Delta since 1971 teaching over 5,000 North Delta children to swim. Additionally, we offer a fabulous co-ed Water Polo program throughout the year. Water Polo was introduced into the Sunfish in 2004 with ongoing success.
All of our coaches, as members of the BC Swim Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in Canada. They provide assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time.
The North Delta Sunfish, a non profit club, is run by its elected Board of Directors which meets each month. All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities and fundraisers.
We are constantly growing and training young swimmers to maintain a well rounded competitive swim team. Thank you for joining us. We are looking forward to meeting you. Please feel free to ask another member or coach any question you may have. |
