A water polo player’s age as of December 31st each year shall be used to determine the competitors category.

For Summer Season 2011:

U12 (previously known as P1 and Atom) is for those born in 2000 or later

U14 (previously known as P2 and Bantam) is for those born in 1998 or 1999

U16 (previously known as P3 and Cadet) is for those born in 1996 or 1997

18U (previously known as P4 and Youth) is for those born in 1993, 1994 or 1995

Open (previously known as P5 and Seniors) is for those 19 and older as well as those unable to play in their own age category due BCSSA Regulations (ie participating on Team BC)
